Solomon Islands
November 12-21, 2026
“I’ve dived in more than 15 countries and have been on dozens of liveaboards. This is definitely my favorite. The diving is amazing and I love how diverse it is. There are sharks and schooling barracuda but also beautiful soft corals and amazing macro life. Wall dives, cavern dives, drift dives and night dives are all top notch. Unlike so many other places there is almost no pollution. You will never be at dive sites with other boats. I cannot recommend Bilikiki highly enough!” — Joanna O’Shea

The destination
The Solomon Islands are a Melanesian nation northeast of Australia. They stretch between Papua New Guinea to the west and Vanuatu to the southeast. Made up of 922 islands, 350 of which are inhabited, the Solomon Islands were formed by volcanic and earthquake activity. The islands are largely untouched by tourism with virtually no pressure on the various underwater environments. Many gorgeous dive sites remain in pristine condition.
Coupled with what nature provides is the fact this area was the site of numerous naval battles between the Allies and the Empire of Japan. Wrecks are everywhere.
The vessel
The Bilikiki has run liveaboard trips in the Solomon Islands for over 25 years. You will find ten deluxe cabins, air conditioning throughout, immense sun decks, large lounge areas and a fully stocked bar. The Bilikiki was designed for the South Pacific and is one of the reasons guests constantly rate her as one of the most spacious and comfortable dive vessels in the world.
The crew of eleven well-trained, friendly, attentive, professional staff and two managers ensure your dive vacation is nothing short of perfection. All trips depart and return via Honiara, the capital of the Solomon Islands.
The diving
The major dive areas are Guadalcanal, Tulagi, Munda, and South Marovo Lagoon. Munda and South Marovo Lagoon feature beautiful reefs, sheer walls, muck diving and sites that attract a number of pelagics. While most of the reefs begin just off shore, wrecks might require a swim or short boat ride. There is something for everyone in this South Pacific nation.
