Saba for Mardi Gras
March 2–9, 2019
From shallow patch reefs to deepwater seamounts, Saba offers interesting diving at each depth and for every diver’s experience level. This breathtaking island is so steep, there are no beaches; the land simply falls into the sea. It is unlike anything you will experience elsewhere.

The destination
For the more adventurous or advanced divers, consider diving Saba’s famous pinnacles and seamounts. These depths have protected them from any natural storm damage and, of course, anchors. The mere size and abundance of large sea fans and sponges put the added bonus of reef creatures and fish. It’s common to encounter schools of jacks, groupers or even Saba’s robust shark population. Lucky divers may get to swim with a humpback whale, manta ray or whale shark. Learn more…
The resort
Juliana’s is located in the Windwardside Village, a minute’s walk from Saba’s finest restaurants, gift shops, grocery stores, museum and more. While strolling through the streets, you get the feeling of real island life…relaxed and laid-back. The winding road that leads down to Fort Bay is a marvel all its own, known as the “Road That Could Not Be Built.” All rroms feature a flatscreen TV with satellite, free WiFi, refrigerator, pool/dive towel use, iron and ironing board, ceiling fans, and a patio or balcony facing the sea.
