Egypt and the Red Sea
(October 28-November 10, 2023
With awesome visibility and breath-taking soft corals, the Red Sea is one of the most popular scuba diving destinations in the world. There are over one thousand species of fish in the Red Sea, 20 percent of which can be found nowhere else in the world.
If that’s not enough, you will combine this trip with the opportunity to spend several days experiencing the best ancient Cairo has to offer, including the Egyptian Museum, the Great Pyramids, the Sphinx and more.
The destination
The Red Sea is among the sunniest places on Earth. It provides corals an abundance of solar energy upon which to thrive. It is also the resting place of many intriguing wrecks including several WWII ships.
Some sites, such as the Brothers, are pinnacles with walls plummeting to hundreds of feet without sandy beaches or shallow reefs. Surrounded by the open ocean, chances of spotting big game such as rays, sharks, and other pelagic predators are high.
The vessel
The 142- foot MV Grand Sea Explorer is the epitome of luxury. She provides a level of service found nowhere else in the Red Sea. The Grand Sea Explorer is stable and spacious, accommodating 22 to 28 passengers.
This opulent vessel has two very large suites, two double cabins and ten twin cabins. All rooms have A/C, stereo, fridge and en-suite bathrooms. During surface intervals, divers unwind on the covered sun deck. They can watch movies, use the free WiFi or listen to music via the entertainment system.
