lberostar Cozumel

June 27-July 4, 2026

Cozumel is the world’s most popular dive destination. It has it all: Walls, reefs, wrecks, animals and some of the clearest water on the planet. It’s also renowned for its exceptional value. Simply stated, your money goes further here. This trip, for example, includes airfare, accommodations, meals, diving and more.

The destination

Cozumel is an island located 25 miles off the coast of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. A deep channel separates it from the mainland. The people are friendly and the food is nothing less than incredible. The Mexican culture is distinct from anything else in the Caribbean. When not diving, you will find plenty of opportunities for shopping, exploration, watersports and other activities.

The resort

lberostar is an all-inclusive resort with its own dive center. Its boats will take you to the second-largest coral reef in the world. Enjoy a family atmosphere in a fully equipped bungalow-style room with easy access to the pools, spa and an extensive white, sandy beach.

The resort will serve your favorite meals at their international buffet or themed restaurant. They serve healthy, tasty and natural items that vary according to local produce and season. Enjoy Iberostar Cozumel’s professional shows, with performances featuring music, dancing, and a variety of other entertaining acts practically every night.

Iberostar Cozumel is a smoke-free hotel; smoking is prohibited except in specifically designated areas.

The diving

The highlight of Cozumel diving is the wall. Located just offshore, the wall begins in around 60 feet of water and plunges vertically to over 2,000 feet. (Good buoyancy control is essential.) Often, the best way to access the wall and its breathtaking views is through tunnels located at the edge of the precipice.

Cozumel diving is not limited to walls, however. There are numerous medium and shallow reefs, teeming with fish and beautiful corals.

Most Cozumel dives are drift dives. You let the current do the work for you. It’s hard to imagine an easier and more enjoyable way to enjoy the scenery.
