MerScales and Fancy Tales Experience
Immerse yourself in the world of mermaiding
Spend a thoroughly enjoyable morning, afternoon or evening with us while we transform you and your friends or family into authentic Merpeople. Experience firsthand what it’s like to be a mermaid or merman. Leave with incredible memories and amazing photos you can share on social media.
The MerScales and Fancy Tales experience takes place in our own mermaid “grotto,” a warm indoor pool that’s perfect for your transformation into a mythical sea creature.
- We supply tails, skins and accessories.
- Our knowledgeable staff will teach you what you need to know to be an authentic merperson.
- We’ll help you pose for unforgettable topside and underwater photos like the ones you see here.
Best of all, you’ll have fun and leave with memories that will last for years.
What’s included?
- Use of a clean, clear, indoor heated pool.
- A topside and underwater photographer.
- A Harry’s Dive Shop staff member will help you pose for the perfect photo.
- We shoot for getting three to five memorable photos per participant. This includes topside and underwater photos.
- We provide Merfins, skins and some props and accessories, such as those you see in the accompanying photos.
What do you provide?
Be sure to bring:
- Swimsuit
- Towel
- Drinking water
- Wigs (if you wish)
- Additional props
- Fun clothing
- Goggles or mask (if you have them)
We recommend long-wearing makeup, tiaras, sequins, etc. Just be aware that balloons, alcohol, glass, sugared foods, sequins and glitter are prohibited. Arrive with hair and makeup ready for posed “land grotto” photos. Virtually any dry grotto use accessories are welcomed.
How much?
- $600 pays for three hours with up to six participants.
- $200 pays for each additional hour past the first three or two additional people past the first six.
- Reservations require a $200 nonrefundable deposit.
Photos bearing the Harry’s Dive Shop watermark are provided at no charge. If you want the original, unedited photos with no watermark, they are available for $10 each.
Let us know ahead of time
- The “guesstimated” height and weight of each participant.
- Each participant’s swimming ability and overall comfort in the water.
- Whether this is for a special occasion such as a birthday, graduation, wedding, etc.
What else?
- Sessions are limited to a maximum of twelve participants.
- If participants are under 18, an adult group member must be present.
