The details
Classroom/pool dates

Classes require a minimum of three people to run as scheduled. If fewer than three people sign up, we reserve the right to either cancel the class or impose a $100 surcharge.
- Be at least 15 years old
- Have logged at least 24 dives
- Possess exceptional buoyancy skills
- Possess a minimum of Open Water Diver, Advanced Buoyancy, Nitrox, Deep and Wreck certifications
$425/person includes:
- Self-study materials
- Classroom and pool
- Open water dives for certification are $100 each
If you already have the SSI Wreck Diver application, deduct $50
Private instruction available at an additional cost
Equipment requirements:
For the pool:
- Mask, snorkel, fins, boots, weight system/weights
- Swimsuit and towel
For open water add:
- Adequate exposure protection
- Cylinder(s) with H-valve (or carry a pony bottle)
- Two separate regulator first and second stages
- Buoyancy Control Device (BC)
- SMB with overpressure valve, reel
- Audible surface signal, knife/cutting tool
Items other than mask/snorkel/fins may be available for rental
Students are also responsible for:
- All air or gas fills
- Dive site admission or charter fees
- Transportation to and from dive sites
- Accommodations and meals, as needed
For those who qualify, a digital c-card is provided at no charge. A plastic certification card is available but costs extra.
This program allows limited penetration within the daylight zone into wrecks with an overhead environment. Skills include:
- Anti-silting buoyancy control and propulsion
- Guideline and reel use
- Use of primary and backup lights while running reels
Three instructor-supervised dives with specific skills are required for certification.
