Knowing how to dive with a drysuit greatly increases your dive opportunities the whole year ‘round. Gone are the days of the water or air being too cold.
Dry suits are easy to use but require training before you plunge into the open water. Unplanned, feet-first rapid ascents are not cool. They are hazardous to your health; avoid them.
Staying dry while under water affords the wearing of warm, snuggly undergarments. As on land, layering is the answer. When divers are warm, they pay better attention to other important details such as buoyancy and surroundings thereby enjoying more of what the underwater world has to offer. When thermally comfortable, anxiety levels drop and positive attitudes increase. Dive dry and learn this for yourself.
